The Testorial-Inator Project

Hello!

This is a simple game I made just to test + learn using GB Studio! This is a very very very simplistic project and also my first time making a game that wasn't done in Scratch, so don't expect much lol. It's very short and the gameplay is basically just walking around and interacting with stuff.  This game features Reimu and Marisa from Touhou Project, but isn't actually connected to any Touhou lore/canon. I just made the sprites Touhou characters cause I got bored lol. Anyways yeah, uh..... enjoy? Hopefully someone out there gets a little chuckle or at least an exhale out of this.  You can choose to either play it right here in-browser, or download the rom file.

CONTROLS (on the platforms I was able to test it on):

PC:

Walk - Arrow keys

Interact - Z key

Speed Up Dialogue - X Key

DS Lite (using Gameyob emulator): 

Walk - D-Pad

Interact - A Button

Speed Up Dialogue - B Button

3DS (using TWiLight Menu++ and Gameyob emulator):

Walk - Either Joystick or D-Pad (Your choice!)

Interact - A Button

Speed Up Dialogue - B Button

Make sure to press that interact button like a maniac, since little text interactions are all the gameplay this has to offer! I made just about everything interactable.
